Accessibility Statement
This accessibility statement applies to the DPHDMS web application (document management) of the operating body. We strive to make the application accessible in accordance with the Ordinance on the Creation of Barrier-Free Information Technology (BITV 2.0) in conjunction with the standard EN 301 549 (WCAG 2.1, Level AA).
Status of compliance with the requirements
This web application is partially compliant with BITV 2.0 due to the incompatibilities listed below.

The content listed below is currently not yet, or not fully, accessible:
- Explanations in Easy Language are available; a version in German Sign Language (video) is not yet available and is in preparation. (BITV § 4)
- A successful file acceptance after upload is not specifically announced to assistive technology. (WCAG 4.1.3)
- Bei sehr starker Vergrößerung (ab 200 %) bzw. sehr schmalem Anzeigebereich ist die Darstellung an einzelnen Stellen noch nicht abschließend geprüft. (WCAG 1.4.10)
- Individual supplementary details (such as the origin of a document version) are available only as a mouse tooltip. (WCAG 1.4.13)
- A small trend chart (sparkline) in the administration area does not additionally convey the development over time in text form. (WCAG 1.1.1)
- The PDF preview embedded in the application uses the display of the respective browser; its accessibility depends on the browser used and on the document.
A complete list of the items identified and the planned remedial measures is held by the operating body and is being worked through on an ongoing basis.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 12.06.2026.
This statement is based on a self-assessment of the source code following the methodology of the BITV test (EN 301 549, WCAG 2.1 AA). It was carried out by means of an AI-assisted, multi-stage cross-checked code evaluation; this was supplemented by automated in-browser tests (axe-core) as well as keyboard tests. Status of the assessment after remediation of deficiencies: 13.06.2026.
A full test with screen readers as well as zoom and reflow presentation is still outstanding and will be carried out subsequently.
